Indian opener Rituraj Gaikwad has registered a big achievement in his name during the fourth T20 played against Australia in Raipur. He played an inning of 32 runs in this match.
On the basis of this inning, he has become the fastest Indian cricketer to complete 4000 runs in T20 cricket. This young batsman has defeated KL Rahul and Virat Kohli in this matter. Indian wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul previously held the record of scoring the fastest 4000 runs for Team India in T20 cricket.
He achieved this feat in only 117 innings. Now Gaikwad has broken KL Rahul's record by doing this feat in just 116 innings. Whereas former Indian captain Virat Kohli had played 138 innings to achieve this feat. Suresh Raina had completed his four thousand runs in 143 innings.
