The first test match between India and Bangladesh has ended in Chennai and now the second test match is awaited. This match will start on 27 September in Kanpur. After about 3 years, test cricket has returned to Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. There is excitement in the city about this but along with this, the police have made more stringent security arrangements because this time the situation is very different. To keep the security system in order, Kanpur Police has also taken big action before the start of the test match and registered an FIR against 20 people. This FIR has been registered against the workers of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, who had performed a havan in front of the road of the stadium.

Officers deployed outside the stadium and hotel.

PTI's report quoted Kanpur Police DCP (East) Shravan Kumar Singh as saying that Green Park Stadium and Hotel Landmark of both the teams have been divided into different sectors, zones, and sub-zones. Not only this, DCP, Additional DCP, and ACP rank officers have been entrusted with the responsibility of security during the entire event. Not only this, but for the successful organization of the test match, Kanpur Police has demanded additional security personnel, who will be deployed during the match.

Bangladeshi team protests

Actually, a big reason for this extra security is the Bangladesh cricket team, which is facing opposition for being invited to India and playing a test series against it. Since the coup in Bangladesh last month, a lot of violence has been seen there, in many cases of atrocities and murders of Bangladeshi Hindus have come to light. Due to such incidents, many Hindu organizations opposed the invitation of the Bangladeshi team to India. During this time, some organizations had also threatened to interfere in these matches.
