This incident has shocked the cricket world. According to media reports, 35-year-old Imran was participating in a local tournament. This match was being played between Lucky Builders and Developers and Young XI at Garwade Cricket Stadium. Imran was captaining Lucky Builders in this match.

Imran Patel, playing for Lucky Builders, was batting brilliantly. He hit 2 consecutive fours in the sixth over of the match, after which he suddenly started feeling uneasy. Then before the start of the 7th over, he complained to the umpire about pain in his neck and hand.
