Both the batsmen made the biggest partnership in IPL history for the tenth wicket. Both shared more than fifty runs for this wicket. This has happened for the first time in IPL history. Shikhar Dhawan and Mohit Rathi shared a 55-run partnership for the tenth wicket in just 30 balls.

Mohit Rathi could score only one run during this partnership. While Shikhar Dhawan was successful in scoring more than 50 runs. At one time, Punjab Kings had lost their 9 wickets for 88 runs. In the match, Punjab scored 143 runs losing nine wickets while playing first. In response, Hyderabad achieved the target by losing two wickets.
