The news is that England's star all-rounder Ben Stokes has left the team for IPL 2024. He has declared himself unavailable to play for Chennai in the upcoming edition of IPL.

Chennai Super Kings themselves have given this information. CSK told that the team was earlier thinking about releasing Ben Stokes, but Stokes himself has refused to play this season. The CSK team captained by Dhoni shared a post saying that Ben Stokes will not play in the upcoming season due to workload management and fitness.

England's red ball captain and all-rounder Ben Stokes has so far scored 935 runs in 45 matches in the IPL at an average of 24.61. He could take only 28 wickets.
