What happened that despite being the team's all-rounder, Iftikhar Ahmed called himself a talent in front of everyone on camera? An interview with Iftikhar Ahmed is in the news, in which during the question-answer session, he calls himself a talent of the Pakistani team.

In the interview, Iftikhar Ahmed is seen saying about himself that he is not a middle-order batsman but a talent. Giving the example of other teams, he said that the all-rounders there play at number 4, 5 or 6. But, in the Pakistani team, I play at number 7 or 8, which is the place of talent.

He further said that whenever he plays for Pakistan, this happens to him. He plays at number 7 or 8. In domestic cricket also he has performed by playing at number 4. Iftikhar Ahmed is deeply hurt and angry about his batting order in the Pakistan team.

Iftikhar Ahmed has played 4 Tests, 28 ODIs and 66 T20 International matches for Pakistan so far. He has taken 25 wickets in these matches. While he has scored 1693 runs with the bat. Iftikhar Ahmed has only 1 international century to his name, which he scored in ODIs.

Iftikhar Ahmed was not a part of the Pakistan team in the Test series against Bangladesh. He was kept out of that Test series. In the same interview in which Iftikhar Ahmed described himself as a talent, he was also seen praising Misbah-ul-Haq. He said that he has also played with Misbah Bhai. He admires his understanding of cricket. Whenever he gets stuck on something, he takes advice from Misbah-ul-Haq.
