Former India fast bowler Chetan Sharma has suffered a sting operation. Due to the statements made in it, Chetan Sharma has lost the post of the chief selector of BCCI.

Chetan Sharma resigned from his post on Friday. Which was accepted by BCCI. Chetan Sharma had made many sensational revelations in the sting operation including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Sourav Ganguly, and injections for fitness.

Chetan Sharma has played 23 Tests and 65 ODIs for Team India.

Born on 3 January 1966 in Ludhiana, Punjab, Chetan Sharma did his 10th standard from DAV Public School, Chandigarh. He graduated from Kurukshetra University. His father's name is ML Sharma. Chetan Sharma was married to Ramani Sharma. Both have a son and a daughter. Chetan Sharma's daughter's name is Rachita Sharma.
