At the same time, Corona spread all over the world. Like other countries, Ukraine also imposed a lockdown. On the other hand, the Tokyo Paralympics also got postponed. In such a situation, Sharad, who was training in Ukraine, got badly stuck there. He was away from his family. Due to the lockdown in Ukraine, he could not reach India on time and could not even fill out the UPSC form. Now he could not appear for the exam without filling out the form. And, he could not become an IAS without passing the exam.
The color of Tokyo's medal changed in Paris
After this, it is not known whether he tried to become an IAS by taking the UPSC exam or not. Yes, he moved forward earning a name in the world of sports with the help of one leg. Sharad Kumar is currently in the news due to his amazing performance in Paris Paralympics. There he won the silver medal by jumping 1.88 meters in the men's high jump T63 event. Meaning, he has been successful in changing the color of the medal of Tokyo in Paris. Sharad Kumar had won bronze in the Tokyo Paralympics.
Why did Sharad Kumar have to become handicapped with one leg?
