West Indies got a big shock before the T20 World Cup, these cricketers including Nicholas Pooran took this big step
The ICC T20 World Cup will be played in the West Indies and the USA in June next year. Even before the organization of this tournament, the West Indies Cricket Board suffered a major setback. The board announced the central contract of the men's cricket team on Sunday. Many star cricketers of the West Indies have refused to be a part of the central contract.
Former captains Nicholas Pooran, Jason Holder and Kyle Mayers have taken this big step. This is being considered a big blow for the West Indies team before next year's T20 World Cup. Even though these three cricketers are not part of the central contract, they will be available for T20 matches.
Four players have been offered central contracts for the first time by the West Indies Cricket Board. These cricketers include left-arm spinner Gudakesh Moti, batsman Casey Carty, Tejnarine Chanderpaul and Alick Athanasz.
