According to LinkedIn, Xpheno is a job placement company that helps in finding people, especially for big positions. This company also helps in getting direct jobs, finding staff for the IT sector, providing engineering services, and finding sales-related staff. More than 500 employees work in this Bangalore-based company.

Prasad MS, Workforce Research Head of Xpheno, was quoted by Moneycontrol as saying 'This decision was a surprise for all our employees. This is special because the first day of the month is usually very busy, there is work like billing and closing the payroll. But to honor the excellent performance of Team India, it was decided to give a holiday. This is our small tribute to the players.'
