Most of us use UPI (Unified Payments Interface) apps, with Gpay, Paytm and PhonePe being among the popular apps in India. While using these apps, many of us face the inconvenience of opening and closing them again and again to make payments through QR codes at different stores. If you use UPI apps around 10 times a day, you may find yourself irritated by the constant need to navigate through these apps. However, today we are sharing a simple trick to avoid this inconvenience.

Follow this trick: To avoid opening UPI apps again and again, you need to keep the QR scanner shortcut of these apps on your home screen. Just press on any UPI app, and you will see several options including 'Scan Any QR Code'. Tap this option and drag it to your home screen. This way, you can directly scan any QR code and make a payment without having to navigate through the app. Click on the shortcut and your scanner will open immediately. This eliminates the need to open the app again and again and go to the QR code scan option.

However, if you have set a password for your UPI apps, you may need to enter the password before opening the shortcut. Also, make sure the camera is enabled and allowed. Similarly, you can create shortcuts for other app-related functions, like mobile recharge, sending money, send money, balance and history.
