Tech Updates: Samsung launched its first smart ring, the Galaxy Ring, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris!
Samsung launched its first smart ring, the Galaxy Ring, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris. This ring is very small and has many health and fitness-related features. Samsung said that this ring is very light, weighing only 2.3 to 3 grams, so there is no problem in wearing it. Samsung launched its smart ring just yesterday and people have already started criticizing it. Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing Company, has made fun of the design of this ring. He took to Twitter and ridiculed the design of the Galaxy Ring.
Nothing CEO had fun
It is written on Samsung's website that the new ring is not felt at all while wearing and looks good with all types of clothes. Sharing a screenshot of this, Carl Pei jokingly wrote to the company's president TM Roh that if you need help in designing, then call me, and we can again accelerate our idea of making technology fun.
Samsung Galaxy Ring features
Samsung says the Galaxy Ring is designed to monitor your health day and night. It can work up to 100 meters underwater and is scratch-free because it is made of titanium. It can last up to seven days on a single charge and comes with a charging box that has a light that shows how much charge the ring has.
Galaxy Ring also has a temperature sensor that lets you keep track of your menstrual cycle. This ring continuously monitors your heart rate and informs you through the Samsung Health app if your heart rate increases or decreases. You can also see the details of your heart rate in it. If you walk or run, this ring automatically recognizes that you are exercising and if you move very little throughout the day, it reminds you that you should exercise.
