How does auto-block spam work?

This feature works in two ways.

Block top spammers - This will only block the most troublesome ones, such as repeat scammers or fraudsters.

Block all spammers - If you want to avoid spam calls completely, you can block all numbers that Truecaller considers spam. However, keep in mind that this may accidentally block an important call as well.

Blocked calls will not come through to your phone. They will appear as missed calls in your call log and will be marked as "Scammer" or "Fraud."

How to enable this feature?

If you have a premium subscription of Truecaller and you have updated your iPhone to iOS 18, then you can easily turn it on. Go to the "Protect" tab in the Truecaller app and turn on the "Auto-Block" option there. After this, Truecaller will automatically block spam calls in real-time.
