Western Digital has introduced new 6TB portable hard disk drives (HDDs) across its WD, WD Black, and SanDisk Professional product lines in India, offering the world's highest storage capacity in a 2.5-inch form factor. The WD My Passport and SanDisk Professional G-Drive ArmorATD series now includes 6TB models, meeting the growing demand for larger storage solutions driven by rapidly growing digital content.

WD My Passport, WD Elements Price
The WD My Passport 6TB, priced at Rs 15,499, features USB-C connectivity, password security with 256-bit AES hardware encryption, and a sleek metal design. A USB-C compatible version is available for Rs 15,999. The WD Elements 6TB, a more basic model, is priced at Rs 15,299.
SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE ArmorATD 6TB
For professionals, the SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE ArmorATD 6TB hard disk priced at Rs 20,999 is extremely rugged. It is shock, water, and dust resistant, and also remains undamaged even when pressed. This disk is engineered to keep your important data safe under harsh conditions. All new disks work with Windows 10 and later. Some models can also be used with macOS after reformatting. These disks come with a warranty of 2 to 3 years. WD and WD Elements disks are currently available at select stores, online stores, and Western Digital stores. The SanDisk Professional G-DRIVE ArmorATD will be available by the end of July 2024.
