TV actress Kavita Kaushik is celebrating her birthday today.

Born on 15 February 1981 in Delhi, Kavita's father Dinesh Chandra Kaushik was a police officer.

Kavita did not want to wear a uniform in real life but she was made to wear it in the fame reel

Kavita became famous in every household with the character of Chandramukhi Chautala in the FIR received from the uniform and is still known by the same name.

But the actress's first love was acting and not food and she wanted to become a chef, however, fate had something else in the store and she moved to Mumbai in 2001 after getting the Kutumb show.

After this, she became a part of many shows including Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kumkum, and Piya Ka Ghar.

Kavita's life changed with FIR and she got 55 awards for the show Kavita 'Ek Hasina Thi'
