If you're employed, your PF is deducted. Your company deposits the same amount into your PF account. Currently, you can withdraw this money by claiming it online. But did you know that you can now withdraw your PF funds through ATMs and UPI? Let's find out.
What new features will PF account holders receive?
Under the new feature, PF account holders can log in with their UAN number and verify via OTP to receive money directly into their bank accounts via UPI.
This money can also be withdrawn through ATM through UPI.
How can you withdraw your PF funds?
You'll first need to log in to the EPFO portal or app.
You'll be provided with information about your total balance and the withdrawable balance.
The withdrawable balance is the balance you can withdraw in full if you wish. You'll need to leave the remaining balance here.
Enter the amount and verify your UPI ID.
After this, the funds will be credited directly to your bank account.
You can withdraw them through an ATM or make payments using UPI.
When will you get this facility?
If media reports are to be believed, EPFO 3.0 may be launched this month i.e. in June,
its testing has been completed.
