Infinix has introduced its new gaming-focused smartphone, the GT 50 Pro, in India. Designed for mobile gaming enthusiasts, the device combines a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, a powerful MediaTek processor, dedicated gaming shoulder triggers and a liquid cooling system. The smartphone also features a large battery and support for both wired and wireless charging.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price in India and Launch Offers
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is priced at ₹69,999 for the variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is available in Black Abyss and Red Blaze colour options, with sales planned through Flipkart and Infinix's official online store.
The company is offering several benefits as part of its launch promotion. Buyers can receive a gaming accessories bundle worth ₹24,999, which includes the GT NX Station, GT NX Controller, GT Cooling Fan cum Charger and a MagSafe-compatible cover for the GT 50 Pro.
Customers using selected bank cards can also get an instant discount of ₹5,000. Eligible buyers can opt for no-cost EMI for up to 18 months, with instalments starting at ₹3,611. Additional benefits include up to 6,999 Infinix Reward Points and access to a JioGames Pro Pass for ₹1, which provides access to a library of more than 1,000 games. Offer availability and eligibility may vary.
144Hz AMOLED Display and Powerful Processor
The Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The company claims peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, while the instant touch sampling rate reaches 2,800Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides protection against everyday scratches and impacts.
The smartphone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, depending on the variant.
On the software front, the GT 50 Pro runs XOS 16 based on Android 16. The combination of its processor, graphics hardware and high-refresh-rate screen is designed to deliver responsive gameplay and smooth visuals.
Dedicated Gaming Buttons and Liquid Cooling
One of the phone's key highlights is its pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers. These dedicated buttons can be configured to perform different actions in supported games, potentially making controls more convenient during competitive gameplay.
The device also incorporates Infinix's HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system, which is designed to help manage heat during demanding gaming sessions. Effective thermal management can help maintain performance during extended play, although actual results will depend on the game, settings and surrounding temperature.
Camera Setup and Battery Capacity
Despite its gaming-oriented design, the Infinix GT 50 Pro also offers a versatile camera setup. The rear camera system consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. A 13-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The phone packs a 6,500mAh battery and supports 45W wired fast charging alongside 30W wireless charging. It also offers reverse charging, with support for 10W wired and 5W wireless output, allowing users to charge compatible devices and accessories.
Connectivity and Other Features
The Infinix GT 50 Pro includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a USB Type-C port and an infrared blaster. Its IP64 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes, but it does not mean the phone is waterproof.
These features make the device more than just a gaming handset, offering a range of connectivity and everyday-use options alongside its gaming-focused hardware.
Gaming Accessories Introduced Alongside the Phone
Infinix has also introduced several accessories designed to expand the GT 50 Pro's gaming capabilities. The GT NX Controller features physical buttons for mobile gaming, while the GT NX Station is intended to connect the smartphone to an external display for gaming on a larger screen.
The GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 is designed to help manage temperature during gameplay and supports wireless bypass charging, according to the company.
With dedicated gaming triggers, a 144Hz AMOLED display, liquid cooling and a large battery, the Infinix GT 50 Pro targets users looking for a smartphone built around mobile gaming. Its final appeal will depend on how its real-world gaming performance, battery endurance and bundled accessories compare with other devices in its price segment.
