This amazing secret feature of WhatsApp will save your storage, now you can share countless photos and videos without filling up the gallery

Nowadays, we all use WhatsApp daily for chatting, sending photos and videos. But does it happen to you that after receiving a bunch of photos from a friend or family group, your phone's gallery quickly fills up and your phone starts hanging?

If you're also troubled by this problem, you should know about a very useful and easy setting in WhatsApp. This simple trick can help you avoid filling up your phone's storage without deleting your chats. Let's find out how this trick works:

What is this setting and how does it save storage?
WhatsApp has a wonderful feature called 'Media Visibility.' When it's on, every photo, video, or document you receive on WhatsApp is automatically saved to your phone's gallery, whether you view it or not.

If you turn this off, media files will remain safe in your WhatsApp chats, but they won't show up in your phone's main gallery. This will save valuable storage and RAM.

How to turn this setting on/off?

Open WhatsApp on your phone.

Click on the three dots above and go to Settings.

After this tap on the Chats option.

Here you'll find the Media visibility option; turn it off.
(Photos from any chat will no longer go directly to the gallery.)

For a specific personal or group chat:

If you want photos from only a specific group (like a family or meme group) to not go to the gallery, open that chat.

Tap the person or group's name at the top (go to Profile Info).

There you will find the option of Media visibility, click on it.

Set it to No and click OK.
