A 21-year-old man developed cancer without tobacco, the doctor revealed the shocking reason

Oral Cancer: In India, oral cancer can affect anyone, not just tobacco users. So let's learn about its symptoms, causes, and prevention methods.

Due to today's lifestyle and eating habits, cancer cases are constantly increasing. One of these is oral cancer. People generally believe that this disease only affects those who consume tobacco, gutkha, bidis, or cigarettes. However, a recent video by Dr. Akshay Kevlani shocked everyone. He explained that a 21-year-old boy came to his OPD with oral cancer, even though he did not use tobacco or cigarettes.

Oral Cancer: The doctor explained that one of the boy's teeth was very sharp, causing him to repeatedly cut his tongue. The frequent cuts on his tongue led to wounds, and inflammation gradually increased. This prolonged inflammation led to oral cancer. According to Dr. Kewalani, this serious condition could have been avoided if his mouth had been checked in time.

In India, people don't take dental and oral problems seriously, which is why most cases of oral cancer are detected in the late stages. Compared to other cancers, oral cancer is considered very painful and spreads rapidly.
