To stop this audacity of Pakistan, the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued some important instructions. This threat is of cyber-attack, under which important institutions can be targeted. In recent times, Pakistan has carried out several cyber-attacks targeting Indian institutions, but most of them have failed.
According to a Money Control report, the Computer Emergency Response Team has issued instructions to protect the country's major financial institutions and other important sectors from cyber-attacks. The government is not only focusing on government institutions, it is also focusing on the private sector. The government wants to ensure that all sectors strengthen their cyber security so that the enemy cannot penetrate any network of the country.
Work on dealing with cyber-attacks accelerates
Work is also being done on how to deal with cyber-attacks. According to the report, the government had increased vigilance regarding cyber-attacks after the Pahalgam attack. Now CERT-In has also issued an alert regarding banks. Everyone has been asked to be alert about cyber security. According to the report, the government is working on strengthening cyber security in collaboration with NASSCOM. There are plans to create a big alert system so that any online attack from the enemy can be dealt with.
Hacking attempt with DDoS attack
According to the report, Pakistan has tried to hack Indian websites by launching DDoS attacks. In such attacks, a lot of traffic is sent to the server of a website. This brings down the website and hackers get ways to control it. Recently, it was seen that some hackers tried to spread their propaganda by hacking websites related to Indian government departments. To deal with such threats, it is very important to work on cyber security. There are many such departments of various state governments, whose websites are often targeted. After the Pahalgam attack, Pakistani hackers targeted a website of the Rajasthan government.
