Produced by Maddock Films, “Ikkis” features a powerful cast including Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Sikander Kher alongside Agastya Nanda. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, known for hits like Andhadhun and Badlapur, the film is set to hit theatres on December 25, 2025.

Maddock Films announced the release date through their official Instagram handle with the caption:

“We are coming to tell the story of India’s young Param Vir Chakra hero. Ikkis releases in cinemas on December 25, 2025.”

This confirmation ends months of speculation, as earlier, the team had only hinted at a 2025 release without specifying the exact date.

Big Box Office Clash Ahead

Interestingly, this Christmas release could lead to a major box office face-off. Actress Alia Bhatt’s upcoming YRF film, Alpha, is also slated to release around the same time. The movie also stars Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol, who could face stiff competition from Agastya Nanda’s debut as a lead.

This means Agastya will lock horns with none other than his aunt Alia Bhatt, making the clash even more intriguing for fans and trade analysts.

For those unaware, Agastya Nanda and Alia Bhatt share a close family bond.
