After the massive success of Pushpa, South superstar Allu Arjun is lining up some of the biggest projects of his career. While Pushpa: The Rampage is scheduled for release in 2028, the actor is currently busy with Atlee’s high-budget film, which marks his 22nd project. Actress Deepika Padukone will be seen opposite him in this much-anticipated film.

However, the project that has recently grabbed the most attention is Allu Arjun’s 23rd film, which he announced a few days ago with acclaimed Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is expected to go on floors after the completion of Atlee’s project and is slated for release in 2026.

Shraddha Kapoor in Talks?

According to recent media reports, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is being considered as the female lead in the Allu Arjun–Lokesh Kanagaraj film. Discussions are reportedly at an early stage, and no official confirmation has been made yet. However, sources suggest that Shraddha is currently the frontrunner for the role.

If finalized, this would mark one of Shraddha Kapoor’s few appearances in a South Indian film. Earlier, she shared screen space with Prabhas in Saaho, which performed well in the Hindi belt but underperformed in other South Indian languages.

Fees Increased After Stree 2 Success

Shraddha Kapoor has reportedly become more selective with her projects after the blockbuster success of Stree 2, which earned around ₹800 crore worldwide. Following the film’s success, the actress is said to have increased her remuneration, making negotiations a key factor in the casting decision.
