Ampere Launches Magnus Grand Electric Scooter Under ₹90,000: Stylish, Feature-Rich, and Budget-Friendly

Ampere, the electric vehicle division of Greaves Electric, has introduced its latest electric scooter, the Magnus Grand, priced at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom). As the top variant in the Magnus lineup, the Grand combines style, performance, and affordability, making it a strong competitor to EVs like Ola S1X, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak.

Premium Features for Riders
The Magnus Grand is priced about ₹50,000 higher than the Magnus Neo, offering enhanced design and advanced features. Key highlights include:

  • Under-seat storage: 22 liters

  • Reverse mode for easier parking

  • Three riding modes: Eco, City, and Power

  • Warranty: 3 years/30,000 km; battery warranty: 5 years/75,000 km

Design and Color Options
The scooter is available in Ocean Blue and Matcha Green, featuring contrasting graphics for a modern look. Additional premium touches include a brown seat cover, redesigned silver grab rail, and gold badging on the apron and sides, offering a fresh and stylish appeal over the Neo.

Battery and Performance
Both Magnus Grand and Neo share a 2.3 kWh removable LFP battery, powering a motor with a nominal output of 1.5 kW and peak output of 2.4 kW. The scooter offers:

Braking and Chassis
The Magnus Grand retains the Neo’s mechanical setup, including a steel tube frame, telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, and 12-inch steel wheels with 90-section tires. Braking is managed via drum brakes at both ends with CBS (Combined Braking System). The scooter weighs 108 kg.
