The Home Ministry has decided to prepare citizens to protect themselves in case of war. For this, a mock drill will be conducted in many states on May 7. During this, an alert siren will sound and there will be a blackout.
The Union Home Ministry has directed several states to conduct mock drills for the safety of citizens in case of war. 7 May has been chosen for this. According to government sources, a danger siren will be sounded during the mock drill. During this, students and citizens will be informed about the safety aspects in war-like situations. The government source also said that these measures also include blackout. People will be prepared for this.
Sources also said that during the drill, arrangements will also be made for blackout preparation and quick camouflage of important plants and institutions. States have been asked to update and rehearse their evacuation plans so that immediate action can be taken in case of an emergency.
Preparedness to deal with emergencies
This exercise is being done with the aim of strengthening the country's internal security and preparedness to deal with emergency situations. Let us tell you that tensions between India and Pakistan are increasing rapidly since the Pahalgam terrorist attack. 26 innocent civilians were killed in this attack. Now India is in the mood to teach the terrorists a lesson. On the other hand, Pakistan is threatening India. In such a situation, the possibilities of war increase. That is why India is preparing to deal with any emergency.
