Axiom-4: Shubhanshu Shukla's wait got long, then Axiom 4 mission got postponed, SpaceX found a big flaw in the rocket..

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla's flight to the International Space Station (ISS) has been postponed once again. SpaceX, the company carrying out this mission, has said that a leak in liquid oxygen was found during the post-static fire booster inspection conducted before the launch, due to which this decision has been taken.

SpaceX said in its official statement, 'We cannot compromise on safety. A liquid oxygen leak was found during the booster inspection, so the launch has been postponed to the next date.'

SpaceX said in its official statement on the social media platform X, 'Falcon 9's Ax-4 launch is being postponed to give the SpaceX team additional time to fix the LOx leak and make necessary improvements. We will share the new launch date after the repair is complete and range availability is ensured.'

What did ISRO say?

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has also stated the postponement of this mission. ISRO postponed the Axiom-04 mission and proposed to send the first Indian Gaganyaat to the ISS on June 11, 2025. ISRO said, 'A 7-second hot test was conducted on the launch pad to validate the performance of the booster stage of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle. During this test, a LOX leak was found in the propulsion bay.' After a lot of discussions between ISRO, Axiom, and SpaceX experts, it was decided that the leak would be fixed and retested. Only after this, the green signal will be given for launch. For this reason, the Axiom-04 mission proposed on June 11, 2025, has been postponed for the time being. Waiting on Shubhanshu Shukla's historic flight The Axiom-4 mission is considered very important for India because through this Shubhanshu Shukla will be the first Indian citizen to reach the ISS under a private space mission. Earlier, this mission has been postponed several times due to technical reasons. Now not only India but the whole world is looking forward to when this historic flight will be rescheduled. Everyone is waiting for the next announcement from SpaceX and ISRO.
