Ayushman Card Yojana: If the hospital demands money even after you have joined the Ayushman Card Yojana, then complain here

From the central government to the state governments, many schemes are working for the health of the people. One of these schemes is the Ayushman Card Scheme. Through this, crores of eligible families of the country are getting the benefit of free treatment up to 5 lakh rupees. With this Ayushman Card, you can get free treatment in listed hospitals, the cost of which is borne by the government. In such a situation, if a doctor, employee or anyone else of the hospital asks for money in the name of treatment despite having an Ayushman Card, then keep in mind that you can complain against such a person.

What to do if the hospital asks for money?

If the hospital asks you for money for treatment covered under the Ayushman Card, first talk to the Pradhan Mantri Arogya Mitra or Ayushman Help Desk of the concerned hospital.

Inform them that you are a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and have an Ayushman card and wish to receive free treatment under it. If the Ayushman Mitra help desk doesn't resolve your issue,
you can escalate your complaint to the scheme's 14555 number.

You can also lodge your complaint online
by visiting the CGRMS portal of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) website, cgrms.pmjay.gov.in.
