Canara Bank has released an official notification for the recruitment of apprentices. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Apprenticeship Portal at nats.education.gov.in. This recruitment drive will fill a total of 3,500 positions within the organization.

The registration process will begin on October 1 and end on October 17, 2026. Read below for eligibility, selection process, and other details.

Eligibility Criteria: Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government
of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidate must have passed his/her graduation not earlier than 01.01.2023 and not later than 01.09.2026 (both dates inclusive). 

Age Limit:
Applying candidates must have minimum age of 20 years and maximum age of 28 years (as on cut-off date of eligibility).

Date of Birth Limit: Candidate must not have been born earlier than 02 September 1998 and later than 01 September 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per government rules.

Selection Process
The merit list of candidates who have applied will be prepared based on the marks/percentage obtained in the 12th class (HSC/10+2)/Diploma examination in descending order by state. If more than one candidate has the same percentage, such candidates will be ranked in descending order of merit according to their age.

Minimum qualifying marks should not be less than 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in 12th class (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma examination.

During the document verification process, document verification and local language test will be conducted.

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹500/- for all categories of candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. Payment can be made using debit cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobile wallets by providing the details requested on the screen.

Process to apply online

First, visit the official website of the Apprenticeship Portal, nats.education.gov.in.
Register: Click on the 'Register' or Apprenticeship Registration link on the homepage and register yourself by entering your basic information.
After successful registration, log in using your login credentials and carefully fill in all the required educational and personal information in the application form.
Upload scanned copies of your required documents, passport-size photo, and signature.
Pay the online application fee as per your category.
After verifying all the entered information, click the 'Submit' button.
After submission, download the confirmation page and keep a printout of it for future reference.
