Planning to bring home a new car this month? August 2026 could be an interesting time to buy, with several manufacturers offering discounts and additional benefits on selected models.

However, these offers can vary by city, dealership and variant, so always confirm the final deal before booking.

Existing Tata customers can receive additional loyalty benefits. Tata EV owners may be eligible for up to ₹1 lakh, while owners of Tata petrol or diesel vehicles can receive benefits of up to ₹50,000.

Don't Assume Every Discount Applies to You

The headline discount isn't necessarily the amount every customer will receive.

Before making a booking, ask the dealer to provide a complete breakup of:

  • Cash discount
  • Exchange bonus
  • Scrappage benefit
  • Loyalty discount
  • Corporate benefit
  • Finance-related offers
  • Extended warranty benefits
  • Dealer-specific discounts

Also check whether the offer applies to your specific variant and whether it can be combined with other benefits.

Which Deal Looks Most Attractive?

If you're considering an electric SUV, the Tata Harrier EV stands out because the maximum combined benefit can reach ₹3.25 lakh for eligible buyers.

For a hybrid SUV, the Maruti Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid has several incentives that could make the overall deal attractive. Meanwhile, buyers looking for a mainstream SUV can consider the Hyundai Creta, while the Kia Sonet and Syros offer smaller but potentially useful benefits.
