CEAT Awards 2025: Seven Cricketers Honored, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja’s Admirer Shine

The CEAT Cricket Rating Awards ceremony took place in Mumbai on October 7, 2025, recognizing the outstanding performances of seven cricketers, including Rohit Sharma. The event celebrated achievements across various formats and levels of cricket.

Rohit Sharma received a special award for his role in winning the Champions Trophy, presented by cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar. Shreyas Iyer, the top run-scorer in the Champions Trophy, was also honored with a memento.

England’s Joe Root was named CEAT Cricketer of the Year for the second time after nine years, having previously won the award in the 2015-16 season. Sanju Samson was recognized as the Men's T20 International Batsman of the Year, credited largely to his impressive three centuries over a span of 12 months.

Varun Chakravarthy earned the title of Men's T20 International Bowler of the Year. In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude toward Rohit Sharma and Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir for their support.

Among the domestic accolades, Harsh Dubey, a devoted fan of Ravindra Jadeja, was named CEAT Domestic Cricketer of the Year. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was awarded CEAT Emerging Player of the Year. Notably, two of the awardees had recently been excluded from the ODI squad for the upcoming Australia tour, reflecting the competitive nature of team selections.

This ceremony highlighted the diverse talent in international and domestic cricket, underscoring individual excellence and team contributions in 2025.
