After the video went viral, the Delhi Police have explained the reason behind the incident. The incident occurred at the Kalkaji Mandir Metro Station in Delhi.
According to the woman's claim, an elderly man urinated in the elevator. There were two girls and a boy in the elevator at the time. This angered the woman, who began filming the incident. She confronted the elderly man, prompting him to retort, "Yes, sorry, do whatever you want." Nearby passengers were also disturbed. After the video went viral, netizens expressed their outrage.
After the video went viral, the police
revealed the truth. In the comments section of the video, the police stated that the incident occurred on May 15, 2026, at around 9:40 p.m. The man was traveling from Jamia to Faridabad on the Metro. While changing trains at Kalkaji station, he suddenly experienced a medical emergency.
He immediately tried to find a washroom. However, due to a lack of timely access and his advanced age, he lost control and his condition worsened. Police clarified that the man had attempted to urinate directly in the elevator and, helplessly, into a plastic bottle.
