Delhi Weather: Delhi is in a bad condition due to heat, when will we get relief? The latest update has come regarding the rain

Delhi Weather Today: The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for rain in Delhi for Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Today the maximum temperature is expected to be 39 degrees Celsius. 

Delhi Weather Forecast: The outbreak of heat and heat wave has been continuing in Delhi NCR for the last few days. Meanwhile, there are signs of change in the weather. The sky is likely to remain cloudy in the national capital on Tuesday. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thundershowers, which will provide some relief from the heat wave. While thundershowers are also expected on Thursday and Friday, which may cause a slight drop in temperature. 

According to the IMD, the maximum temperature on April 29 is expected to be around 39 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 25 degrees Celsius. There is also a possibility of a slight drop in temperature in the coming days. 

How fast will the winds blow? 

The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. During the yellow alert, strong winds at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour and rain are expected.

Temperatures were above average

The maximum temperature in Delhi on Monday was recorded at 40.4 degrees Celsius, which is 1.4 degrees above the average of this season. The minimum temperature was 23.2 degrees Celsius, which is 0.6 degrees below normal. The relative humidity during the day ranged between 43 percent and 32 percent. On Sunday, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees above normal and is the highest minimum temperature recorded in April in the last six years. Earlier, it was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius on 25 April 2019.

Delhi's AQI worsens again 

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the city's air quality remained in the 'poor' category for the seventh consecutive day. The average air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 266 at 4 pm. According to the CPCB, AQI between zero to 50 is considered 'good', between 51 to 100 'satisfactory', between 101 to 200 'moderate', between 201 to 300 'poor', between 301 to 400 'very poor' and between 401 to 500 'severe'
