DPL 2025 Full Schedule Announced: Kohli's Nephew, Sehwag's Son to Play in Delhi Premier League Starting August 2

The highly anticipated second season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 is all set to begin on August 2, featuring an exciting mix of young talent and familiar faces. The men's competition will run from August 2 to August 31, while the women’s tournament will take place from August 17 to August 24.

This season gains more buzz with the participation of two high-profile names: Aryaveer Kohli, nephew of Virat Kohli, who will represent South Delhi Superstars, and Aryaveer Sehwag, son of Virender Sehwag, playing for Central Delhi Kings.

DPL 2025 Format & Fixtures:

  • Men’s Teams: 8 teams divided into two groups (A & B). Each team plays 2 round-robin matches (home & away).

  • Playoffs: Top 4 teams move to the playoffs. Top 2 play Qualifier 1. The 3rd & 4th place teams play an Eliminator.

  • Qualifier 2: The winner of Eliminator plays the loser of Qualifier 1 for the final spot.

  • Final: To be held on August 31.

  • Women’s Teams: 4 teams will play in a round-robin format, totaling 6 matches, with the top 2 advancing to the final on August 24.
