Smartphone buyers may want to pause their purchase plans, as the first week of April is set to witness the launch of four new devices from leading brands including iQOO, Realme, Vivo, and Redmi. These upcoming models promise significant upgrades in performance, camera technology, and battery life.
iQOO 15 Apex Launch Today
The iQOO 15 Apex is scheduled to launch in India on April 1 at 12 noon. Ahead of its release, a dedicated microsite on Amazon has revealed key specifications. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Generation 5 processor and is claimed to achieve an AnTuTu score exceeding 4 million.
The company has committed to offering five years of operating system updates and seven years of security patches. The device is expected to feature a 2K M14 OLED display, a Super Computing Q3 chip, and a 50-megapixel periscope camera.
Realme 16 5G to Debut on April 2
Realme will introduce the Realme 16 5G on April 2 at 12 noon. The device will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the company’s official website. According to early details, it will be India’s first smartphone equipped with a selfie mirror feature.
The handset is expected to sport a 6.57-inch display, a large 7000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel front portrait camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony rear portrait sensor.
Vivo V70 FE Also Launching April 2
Vivo is set to unveil the V70 FE on the same day, April 2. The smartphone will highlight its 200-megapixel primary camera sensor and introduce the brand’s new “Darkness Glow” technology.
Other expected features include a 50-megapixel selfie camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 7000mAh battery, 90W fast charging support, and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The device will be available via Vivo’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G to Join the Lineup
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will also launch on April 2. A Flipkart microsite reveals that the phone will have a slim 7.35mm design and come in three colour options.
The device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with 4K video recording, a 5800mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. It will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com following its launch.
