The demand for 7-seater multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) is growing steadily in India, especially in the budget segment. Among these, the Renault Triber has established itself as a popular choice since its launch. Following the implementation of GST 2.0, Renault has significantly reduced the prices of all Triber variants, making it an even more attractive option. Prices now start at ₹5.76 lakh for the base Authentic variant.
Variant-wise price cuts are substantial. The top-end Emotion AMT Dual Tone variant now costs ₹8.59 lakh, down from ₹9.39 lakh—a discount of approximately ₹80,195. Other variants have also received notable price reductions, making the Triber a value-for-money choice for families seeking a feature-rich yet budget-friendly MPV.
July 2025 facelift adds premium features. The updated Triber, launched on July 23, 2025, includes new smoked tail lamps, a diamond-shaped Renault logo, and three new color options. Interior upgrades include an updated instrument cluster, ambient lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, traffic sign recognition, and six airbags as standard. Practical features like auto climate control further enhance the car’s appeal.
Engine and performance remain practical for both city and highway driving. The Triber is powered by a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, available with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
With its GST 2.0 price revision, the Renault Triber is now the most affordable 7-seater in India, offering a balance of safety, style, and technology. It is an ideal choice for buyers looking for a budget-friendly family car with modern features.
