Here a father was so devastated by his daughter's love marriage that he shot himself by placing a rifle on his temple. Before committing suicide, he wrote an emotional suicide note full of questions, which left questions reaching the roots of society, system and relationships.

In the suicide note, father Rishiraj Jaiswal wrote – "I could have killed both of them (daughter Harshita and her lover Anand), but how could I kill my daughter? The Constitution of India is also wrong, which takes away all the rights from the father as soon as the daughter becomes an adult. Harshita beta, you did not do well..."

These words are not just those of a broken father, but also a mirror of a society that is pulled between tradition and modernity every day.

What was the matter? – Daughter married her neighbor in Arya Samaj

45-year-old Rishiraj Jaiswal lived in Naka Chandrabadni area of ​​Gwalior and ran a medical store. His daughter Harshita (20) ran away from home 15 days ago with Anand Prajapati, a youth living in the neighborhood. Both of them went to Indore and got married in Arya Samaj temple.

The family filed a missing person report, after which the police recovered both of them from Indore. During the court hearing, Harshita refused to go with her father and expressed her desire to stay with her husband. The court sent her with her husband.

“My daughter left my hand… and life left my courage”

After the court hearing, Rishiraj was completely shattered. He did not tell this to anyone, but he kept roaming around silently, dejected and with a heavy heart for three days. Perhaps during that time he had decided to commit suicide.

After having dinner on Wednesday night, he went to his room. At around 1 o'clock, he took out his licensed rifle from the cupboard and placed it on his temple and fired. Hearing the sound, the family members ran but it was too late by then.

The most shocking thing was that Rishiraj wrote his suicide note on the printout of his daughter's Aadhaar card. He wrote - "If the Arya Samaj marriage is not valid, then why did the court send her with him? My family is destroyed. No one could understand my pain."

Violence after businessman's death - daughter's father-in-law beaten up

Angry with this incident, the family members dragged the daughter's father-in-law out of the house and beat him up on the road. His condition became so bad that he had to be admitted to the hospital. On Thursday, when media personnel reached the spot to cover the incident, the angry family members started pushing and shoving them. During this, a reporter's clothes got torn and a cameraman's camera got broken.

Police started investigation, family is in shock

Jhansi Road police station and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation. Police have confirmed that the father committed suicide due to sadness over his daughter marrying for love and rejecting him in court.
