Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, openly condemned the irresponsible spread of misinformation, stating that her husband is very much alive and recovering from treatment.

In an official post, Hema Malini wrote, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can you spread false news about a man who is responding to treatment and recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please respect the family and their need for privacy." She expressed strong anger towards those spreading the rumors, emphasizing the emotional toll it has taken on the family.

Earlier, Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol was the first to counter the fake news on social media. She posted, "Social media is far too quick to spread false news. My father is doing well and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for everyone's prayers."

Several stars, including Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, visited Dharmendra at the hospital to check on his condition. Hema Malini herself spent time with him recently, along with family members Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and the children, reaffirming that the superstar is still undergoing treatment and is stable.
