Hero MotoCorp has also made preparations to pass on the benefits of tax cuts on two-wheelers in GST 2.0. Recently, the company has reduced the prices of its models by up to ₹ 15,743. People will be able to avail the benefits of the reduced prices from September 22.
Hero MotoCorp, one of the country's largest two-wheeler manufacturers, has announced that it will pass on the full benefits of GST 2.0 reforms to its customers. The new prices will be effective from 22 September 2025. The new tax cuts will make motorcycles and scooters more affordable across the country just ahead of the festive season.
This step will be especially beneficial for rural and small towns, where two-wheelers are not just a means of personal travel but also an important source of employment. By passing on the full benefit of the reduction in GST to customers, Hero MotoCorp is trying to provide relief and convenience to millions of families, especially the lower middle class.
What did the company say on the price cut?
Welcoming this move of the government, Hero MotoCorp CEO Vikram Kasbekar said that we welcome the next generation GST 2.0 reforms of the government. This step will increase consumption, strengthen GDP growth and take India rapidly towards a $ 5 trillion economy. More than half of Indian families use two-wheelers for their daily needs. Therefore, this reform is very important for mass mobility. Two-wheelers will become even cheaper and accessible before the festivals, which will also lead to a big increase in demand.
