With Holi just around the corner, the spirit of colors, music, and celebration has begun to take over. Adding a unique twist to this year’s festivities, Bhojpuri actor, singer, and politician Manoj Tiwari has released a new Holi song titled Holariya, which is rapidly gaining attention on social media and YouTube.
Known for blending folk music with mass appeal, Manoj Tiwari has given this Holi number a political flavor, making it stand out from the usual festive songs. The track playfully references contemporary politics while maintaining a light-hearted and humorous tone.
Song gaining massive traction online
Released on the Mridul Music YouTube channel just a few days ago, Holariya has already crossed 1.1 million views, along with more than 52,000 likes and thousands of comments. Manoj Tiwari has not only sung the song but has also written and composed it himself. Actress Prachi Tehlan features alongside him in the video.
Political satire wrapped in Holi colours
What makes the song particularly eye-catching is its playful portrayal of well-known political figures. The video features performers wearing masks resembling Narendra Modi, BJP leaders, and opposition figures such as Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal. There are also light-hearted references to leaders like Lalu Prasad Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and Tej Pratap Yadav.
The song keeps the mood humorous, with Manoj Tiwari reminding viewers at the end that it’s Holi and no one should take offence.
Tribute to Bhojpuri cinema stars
Alongside politics, Holariya also celebrates Bhojpuri cinema by mentioning popular stars such as Ravi Kishan, Nirahua, Khesari Lal Yadav, and Pawan Singh, with artists appearing in masks of these stars.
By combining festive energy, political satire, and Bhojpuri pop culture, Manoj Tiwari’s Holariya has added a fresh and talk-worthy flavour to Holi 2026 celebrations.
