- Finely chopped onion – 1
- Finely chopped green chilli - 1 or as per taste
- Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – one-fourth teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder – half teaspoon
- Black pepper – a pinch
- Salt – as per taste
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Salt – as per taste
- Water - to knead the dough
- Ghee/oil - for frying
How to make Hung Curd Paratha
- First of all, add some salt to the wheat flour and mix water with light hands and knead a soft dough. Now keep it covered for 10-15 minutes.
- Take hung curd in a mixing bowl and add finely chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, black pepper and salt. Mix all these things well. Keep in mind that the hung curd should not be too thin, otherwise it may tear while rolling the paratha.
- Now take a ball of kneaded dough and roll it to give it a small shape like a puri. Now put hung curd stuffing in it and close it from all sides and make a ball of the dough. Now roll it with light hands so that the paratha becomes thin and the stuffing spreads evenly.
- Heat the pan and place the prepared paratha on it and apply a little ghee or oil on both the sides and fry till it becomes golden and crispy.
- Now hot hung curd paratha is ready. You can serve it with green chutney, tomato chutney or pickle.
