If I can help... Donald Trump's big statement on 'Operation Sindoor', India and Pakistan should stop

India Pakistan Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump appealed to India and Pakistan to stop fighting and offered help. Trump said that America has friendly relations with both countries.

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday urged India and Pakistan to stop fighting and offered them help. "I want them to stop," Trump said at a press conference at the White House, AFP reported. He said the US has friendly relations with both countries and wants tensions to be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Trump added, "And if I can be of any help, I will be there." Trump's remarks came soon after Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif vowed to retaliate after India attacked nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). "We pledge that we will avenge the blood of our innocent martyrs," Al Jazeera quoted Sharif as saying in his address to the nation.

It is noteworthy that the Indian armed forces, avenging the Pahalgam terror attack, carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir late on Tuesday night, including the Jaish-e-Mohammed stronghold in Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba hideout in Muridke.

These military strikes were carried out under 'Operation Sindoor' in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. 26 people were killed in the Pahalgam attack. A few hours after the attack, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, along with Colonel Sofia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, briefed the media about India's operation.

After the initial statement made by Misri, the two officials shared information about the sites targeted by the Indian Army. In retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian armed forces carried out missile strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Army officials said that under 'Operation Sindoor', the Indian Army targeted Lashkar-e-Taiba's (LeT) Markaz Taiba in Muridke, Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, Hizbul Mujahideen's Mahmoona Zoya facility in Sialkot and LeT's hideouts at Markaz Ahle Hadith in Barnala and its camp in Shawai Nalla in Muzaffarabad.
