India AI Impact Expo 2026 Begins Tomorrow: PM Narendra Modi to Inaugurate Mega AI Event at Bharat Mandapam

India is set to take a major leap in the global artificial intelligence space with the launch of the India AI Impact Expo 2026, which will be inaugurated by Narendra Modi on February 16 at 5:00 PM. The five-day mega event will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi and will continue till February 20, 2026.
This landmark expo aims to showcase India’s rapidly growing AI ecosystem and demonstrate how artificial intelligence is becoming an integral part of everyday life—from governance and healthcare to education and sustainability.
A Grand Showcase of AI Innovation at Bharat Mandapam
The India AI Impact Expo 2026 will be spread across 70,000 square metres and organised into 10 thematic arenas. Central government ministries, state governments, global tech giants, startups, research institutions, and international partners will all come together on one platform. The focus will be on real-world AI applications that bridge the gap between policy and cutting-edge technology.
Global Participation from 13 Countries
The expo will host 13 international country pavilions, including participants from Australia, Japan, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and the UAE. The key objective is to strengthen global cooperation in AI and position India as a strategic player in the worldwide AI ecosystem. The event highlights that AI is not just about technology, but also about international collaboration and shared progress.
600 Startups and 300+ AI Pavilions
One of the biggest highlights of the expo is the participation of over 600 startups and 300+ curated pavilions. These exhibits will feature live demonstrations of AI solutions already being used in real-life scenarios. Based on the core themes of People, Planet, and Progress, the showcased innovations will focus on healthcare, education, climate solutions, smart governance, and social development. Organisers expect more than 2.5 lakh visitors during the event.
India AI Impact Summit 2026: Global Leaders on One Stage
Alongside the expo, the India AI Impact Summit 2026 will host over 500 sessions and 3,250+ speakers. Heads of state and prime ministers from countries such as France, Brazil, Spain, the UAE, Switzerland, and the Netherlands will participate. The summit will present India’s AI vision to the world and is expected to play a crucial role in shaping global AI policy and innovation frameworks.
