Set a target of 121 runs in the fourth innings, India secured victory in the first session of the fifth day thanks to KL Rahul's half-century, securing a 7-wicket win. This secured a 2-0 win in the two-match series. This victory extended India's unbeaten streak against the West Indies in the Test format to 27 matches.

This series was part of the ICC World Test Championship. This is India's fourth win in seven matches in the tournament, giving India 61.9 percentage points. India remains in third place. Meanwhile, the West Indies are yet to open their account in this WTC cycle. They have played five matches so far and have lost all of them. India lost two matches during their tour of England in this WTC cycle, with one match ending in a draw.

World Test Championship Points Table:
