The Indian Coast Guard has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for recruitment to various posts including Store Keeper, Engine Driver, Civilian Motor Transport Driver, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), and Chowkidar. Post Wise Expected Salary:

Engine Driver: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 per month

Store Keeper & Civilian Motor Transport Driver: ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month

Educational Qualifications and Age Limit:
To apply for these positions, candidates must have passed the 10th or 12th grade from a recognized board. Additionally, a few years of practical work experience in the relevant trade or field is required. The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age limit varies from 27 to 30 years, depending on the position. Special age relaxation will be provided to candidates in reserved categories, as per government regulations.

Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will be selected through the following stages:

Scrutiny of applications received

Documents and Biometric Verification

Written examination

Trade Test

The written examination will include questions from general knowledge, mathematics, general English, and the relevant trade. To pass the exam, candidates in the unreserved (UR) category must obtain at least 50% marks and those in the reserved category must obtain 45% marks. Only those who successfully pass the written examination will be called for the next stage, the trade test.
