The film has also performed exceptionally well overseas, collecting approximately ₹267.50 crore.

This takes its reported worldwide collection to ₹776.95 crore.

In comparison, Aamir Khan's PK had a worldwide box office collection of approximately ₹769.89 crore, according to the figures cited in the report.

By crossing this milestone, Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 has moved ahead of PK in the worldwide box office rankings.
