Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remains at the top of the ICC Test bowlers' rankings. However, his ranking is now in danger. A Pakistani bowler could overtake him.

India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remains at the top of the ICC Men's Test bowlers' rankings. However, some Indian players have seen changes in their rankings after the latest update. Mohammed Siraj is at 17th position in the ODI bowlers' rankings. Afghan spinner Rashid Khan remains at the top of this list. Meanwhile, Bumrah's lead at the top of the Test rankings has reduced. Now Pakistan's Nauman Ali is just 29 points behind him, having achieved a new career-high ranking after his brilliant performance in Lahore.

Nauman bowled well against South Africa

Nauman Ali has jumped four places to second. Nauman took 10 wickets in Pakistan's 93-run win against South Africa. His teammate Shaheen Afridi has also moved up three places to 19th after taking four wickets in the second innings of the same Test. Among Pakistani batsmen, Mohammad Rizwan has moved up four places to 16th, while Babar Azam has moved up two places to 22nd. Meanwhile, Salman Agha has moved up eight places to 30th.

England's Joe Root remains at the top of the Test batting rankings. South African Ryan Rickelton's 71 in the first innings of the first Test against Pakistan has pushed him into the top 50 for the first time, while Tony de Zorzi's century has lifted him to 54th.

Changes in ODI rankings too

Australia's stand-in captain Mitchell Marsh has moved up two places to 42nd in the ODI batting rankings after his Player of the Match performance against India in Perth. Australian fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc have also moved up to 10th and 21st, respectively, in the ODI bowlers' rankings. Bangladesh spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz has moved up six places to 18th after a consistent performance against the West Indies.
