KBC 17: This kid from Gujarat got out on '0' due to overconfidence, video goes viral

Gujarati boy Ishith Bhatt displayed overconfidence on KBC 17. He interrupted Amitabh Bachchan to explain the rules and gave hasty answers. Ultimately, he lost ₹25,000 after answering a question on the Ramayana incorrectly and returned home empty-handed.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is a Hindi television show that has garnered a large following and viewers with its informative and engaging episodes. This Amitabh Bachchan-starrer has transformed the lives of many, making them millionaires and crorepatis. The show has often been in the headlines for its contestants. Similarly, a child contestant from Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 is currently making waves on social media.

The October 9th episode of the show is going viral. A child named Ishit Bhatt, from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, participated in the show. When Amitabh Bachchan began explaining the rules, Ishit said with overconfidence, "I know the rules; there's no need to explain them to me now." This can be clearly seen in the viral video. Viewers were also surprised by Amitabh Bachchan's approach to the show. Afterward, the child answered every question before even offering an option.

After answering four questions correctly, Ishit was eliminated from the show by incorrectly answering a familiar question: What is the name of the first chapter (chapter/book) of the Valmiki Ramayana?

A. Balakanda

B. Ayodhya incident

C. Kishkindha Kanda

D. Yudh Kand

These were the options given. Ishit said Ayodhya Kand. Bachchan ji asked him several times if he was sure, but Ishit ignored him and stuck to Ayodhya Kand. Finally, Amitabh Bachchan told him the answer was wrong. Ishit, who had won Rs 25,000 with four questions, ultimately had to return home empty-handed.

This video is going viral on social media. People are commenting on it profusely, saying that overconfidence and haste are not good. Some comments include, "Be smart, but being overly smart only leads to defeat." He is also being criticized for speaking disrespectfully to Amitabh Bachchan. Some are also saying, "He's just a kid... let him be."
