As India gear up for the crucial fourth Test against England in Manchester, two players who are yet to feature in the series — Kuldeep Yadav and Arshdeep Singh — have caught fans’ attention, not for their bowling, but for their celebratory mood.
Dance Before the Test
In a light-hearted moment shared on social media, Arshdeep Singh posted a video on Instagram where both he and Kuldeep Yadav are seen dancing and singing in Punjabi. The caption reads:
"Dance class starting soon"
While the video showcases their camaraderie and cheerful spirit, it has sparked speculation among fans — could this joyful moment signal good news ahead of the Manchester Test?
Kuldeep Yadav Still Waiting
Kuldeep, who has played 13 Tests for India and taken 56 wickets, last featured in a red-ball game in October 2024. Despite his solid record and the team’s need for variety in the bowling attack, the left-arm wrist-spinner has been benched so far on the England tour. With Manchester often offering some turn, calls for his inclusion have grown louder.
Arshdeep Singh Awaiting Debut
On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh is yet to make his Test debut. The left-arm pacer, known for his swing and control, has traveled with the squad but hasn’t found a place in the playing XI in the first three Tests. With rotation expected in the pace department, especially after long spells in seamer-friendly conditions, Arshdeep could be a contender for the remaining matches.
A Hint or Just Fun?
While the Instagram video might simply be a fun off-field moment between two close teammates, the timing — just days before the fourth Test — has led fans to speculate that one or both could be in line for a game. Team India might consider playing Kuldeep to counter England’s middle order or handing Arshdeep a debut to manage the workload of frontline pacers.
As of now, no official confirmation has been made regarding changes to the XI, but the cheerful mood in the camp indicates high morale and team unity.
