This storm uprooted big trees and electric poles. Hailstorm was also seen in some areas. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rain in Delhi today as well.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the unusually early rain is due to the changing weather pattern. The department says that this change may be a sign of an active monsoon season ahead. At the same time, IMD has also given a big update regarding the monsoon.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its press release issued on Thursday that conditions are likely to become favorable for the arrival of monsoon in Kerala in the next 2-3 days. According to the department, conditions are likely to become favorable for the advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of South Arabian Sea and some parts of North Bay of Bengal and northeastern states in the coming two to three days.

What will the weather be like in the future?

In the latest forecast of IMD, it was told that heavy to very heavy rains can be seen in many parts of the country. The department said that there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds with a speed of 40-50 km per hour in Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada during 22 to 28 May. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the state of Gujarat during 25 to 28 May.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 40-50 km per hour in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh for the next one or two days. The department said that there is a possibility of strong winds in western Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan on 25 and 26 May.

In the last 24 hours, heavy rains along with strong winds were witnessed in many states including Delhi NCR. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, stormy winds with a speed of 60-100 km per hour blew at different places in Gujarat region, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, West Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from this, hailstorm was observed at different places in Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, heavy rain was observed at different places in West Bengal, Bihar, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Assam, Tripura and Odisha.

There will be a change in temperature in the next 24 hours

The Meteorological Department said that the maximum temperature in North-West India is likely to fall by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the next 24 hours. At the same time, the department said that after this fall, the temperature will again increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

The department said that the maximum temperature in central India is likely to fall by 2-4 degrees Celsius during the next 4 days and then increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius for the next 3 days. At the same time, there is no possibility of any significant change in maximum temperature in the rest of the country.
