The country is experiencing a dual weather pattern these days. Torrential rains are wreaking havoc in some areas, while scorching heat is pounding in some places even in October. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for several states today. The department has issued this alert for the national capital, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Odisha, and Assam. Meanwhile, the sun is still scorching in many places in Rajasthan. Temperatures have reached close to 40 degrees in districts like Pilani, Churu, and Sriganganagar. The department is also concerned by this type of weather. The Meteorological Department has predicted a strong possibility of completely dry weather in most parts of Rajasthan for the next three to four days.
Temperatures may rise in the coming days.
These days, intense daytime sunlight and heatwave-like conditions have severely impacted normal life. People in Rajasthan have rarely experienced such intense heat in the first week of October.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that the maximum temperature may only be 2 to 3 degrees above normal in the coming days. This means that the heat wave in the state may increase in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance may become active soon. Due to this effect, there may be a major change in the weather between October 10th and 12th. Rainfall will bring relief to the people.
