Navjot Singh Sidhu Reportedly Commands Higher Fees Than Sunil Grover for "The Great Indian Kapil Show" Return

Comedian Kapil Sharma is set to return with "The Great Indian Kapil Show" Season 3, premiering on Netflix on June 21st. This season promises a "double dhamaka" as Navjot Singh Sidhu makes a comeback, reportedly alongside Archana Puran Singh, both occupying the judge's chair. A recent photo shared by Sidhu himself, featuring Indian cricket team players like Gautam Gambhir, Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Abhishek Sharma, confirmed his return to the popular comedy series.

Sources close to the production indicate a significant increase in Sidhu's per-episode fee for the Netflix platform, reportedly surpassing that of fellow comedian Sunil Grover.

Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was a prominent fixture on "The Kapil Sharma Show" from 2018 to 2020, previously charged approximately ₹20 lakh per episode, accumulating around ₹25 crore for 125 episodes. For "The Great Indian Kapil Show" Season 3 on Netflix, media reports suggest his fee has now risen to between ₹30 to ₹40 lakh per episode, making it a notably lucrative comeback.

In comparison, Sunil Grover, a key member of the cast, is reportedly earning ₹25 lakh per episode. This places Sidhu's rumored per-episode earnings higher than Grover's.

Reported fees for other cast members of "The Great Indian Kapil Show" Season 3:

  • Kapil Sharma: ₹5 crore per episode
  • Navjot Singh Sidhu: ₹30-40 lakh per episode (reportedly)
  • Sunil Grover: ₹25 lakh per episode
  • Archana Puran Singh: ₹10 lakh per episode
  • Krushna Abhishek: ₹10 lakh per episode
  • Kiku Sharda: ₹7 lakh per episode
